At the Boileau Family Foundation, we believe meaningful change starts close to home. That is why every organisation we partner with is based right here in Adelaide, doing work that shapes our city, supports our most vulnerable, and enriches our shared culture.
We are proud to stand alongside five partner charities: Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Australian Dance Theatre, Hutt Street Centre, St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies), and Zoos SA. Each one is different in mission, but they share something important: a deep, sustained commitment to the South Australian community.
Here is why these five.
Arts that move us
Adelaide has always punched above its weight in the arts. The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Australian Dance Theatre are two of the reasons why.
They do not just perform. They educate, inspire, and create space for people to experience something bigger than themselves. Supporting these organisations means investing in the cultural identity of our city and ensuring the arts remain accessible, not exclusive.
Compassion in action
Homelessness and disadvantage are not abstract problems in Adelaide. They are visible, and they are growing.
Hutt Street Centre and Vinnies are on the front line every day, providing meals, crisis support, housing pathways, and the kind of dignity everyone deserves. These organisations do not wait for policy to catch up. They act.
Conservation for the future
Zoos SA is far more than a place to visit on a sunny weekend. Their conservation and education programs protect endangered species and connect South Australians, especially young people, with the natural world.
In a time of environmental pressure, that work matters enormously.
A foundation built on connection
We do not operate like a traditional grant-making body. The Boileau Family Foundation exists to raise awareness, connect people with causes that need support, and make it easy for someone who wants to help to find the right place to start.
These five charities represent the breadth of what makes Adelaide worth fighting for: creativity, compassion, and natural heritage. We chose them because their work speaks for itself, and because we believe that when more people know what they do, more people will want to be part of it.
If any of these causes resonate with you, learn more through their pages on our site and find out how you can get involved through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word.
That is how change starts: one connection at a time.
